Summary:
I am a researcher, who deals with the environmental determinants of health (environmental epidemiology). Particularly I am interested in health effects of air pollution, impact of transport and traffic-related air pollutants on the environment as well as socio-economic effects of traffic congestions. Besides the research activities I also deal with the commercialization of knowledge and scientific research results, working as a technology broker in the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations. My other activities are: public consultations in the investment process and environmental impact assessment of large infrastructural projects. These were the issues that I have worked on as the advisor to the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Poland and that I practice now as a member of National Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment. I am also involved in activities for the promotion of science, being an editor-in-chief of the scientific quarterly "Challenges of modern technology".

5. "A method to assess the effects of reducing road traffic nuisance in terms of urban environment in Warsaw", 2005-2006. PhD research project funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
